Overview
Sustainable Development Goal 11 focuses on building sustainable cities and communities, emphasizing the critical role of resilient urban and rural development; ensuring safe living and working environments for all; and promoting the rational distribution of populations and labor across regions to support national sustainable development.
NCTU is constructed on a land area of 264,447 m², of which green spaces and multifunctional sports areas account for 82,966 m², representing 31.4% of the total area. These facilities include 4 tennis courts, 2 artificial turf soccer fields, 5 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 badminton courts, 2 pickleball courts, 2 table tennis tables, and 1 swimming pool, all dedicated to supporting student learning, recreation, and sports activities. The university facilitates participation by students, athletes, and club members, providing free utilities such as electricity and water.
